What would St. Patrick’s Day at Bossa be without a twist?
Get a jump on your Paddy’s Day with a band originally from . . . Trujillo, Perú, by way of South Florida. The Landivar trio is a family affair: David Landivar (guitar), Krister Landivar (percussion), and their father Walter Landivar (bass) have been turning out rock, jazz, fusion, blues, and pop performances since 1996, and they’re now adding Celtic Irish music to their repertoire.
The Landivars believe in collaborating with different artists, which brings us to Irish fiddle player Páraic Keane, who has joined forces with the group to deliver traditional Irish music to the 21st-century masses. Together, they create their own wild Celtic jazz fusion sound that at once evokes The Chieftains, The Pogues, and The Dixie Dregs.
The Landivar Irish Experiment featuring Páraic Keane is ready to get the party started! Don’t miss them on the main stage (downstairs) on Thursday, March 16 at 10:00 pm—it will be great craic!
