Son Cubano Subterraneo brings the musical sounds of Cuba’s golden era to life right here in the nation’s capital!

A six-piece ensemble of musicians and entertainers with a shared passion for Cuban Son, Son Cubano includes authentic Cuban instruments and a deep repertoire of styles, tempos, and songs from all the greats, such as Buena Vista Social Club, Beny More, Arsenio Rodriguez, and many others.

Fronted by singer Steven Falcon, a Cuban native who has performed around the world, the band also features Josh Schneck (bandleader/Cuban tres), Fran Vielma (congas), Eduardo Padua (bongos/hand percussion), Matvei Sigalov (guitar), and Gabriel Vivas (upright bass).
