Early Show! Hafla feat. DMV Dancers + Artists

Join Carolina Hernandez and Alonso Villa Vargas for a special hafla, featuring dancers and vendors from around the DMV.

Alonso Villa Vargas is a Colombian composer, percussionist, qanun player, and music producer. His work explores the dialogue between flamenco, Arabic music, and world music through original compositions, improvisation, and interdisciplinary performance. As director of the flamenco-Arab orchestra La Jarana, he develops a musical vision that bridges tradition, research, and contemporary creation.
