Venue:Early Show! Benefit Concert for Displaced Families in Lebanon feat. American Nomad
Join American Nomad, in partnership with the Tahrir Institute for Middle East Policy (TIMEP), for a benefit concert supporting displaced families in Lebanon.
Lebanon continues to face a devastating humanitarian crisis, with families displaced from their homes and in urgent need of food, shelter, healthcare, medicine, and other basic necessities. The Lebanese Red Cross is on the front lines, providing emergency medical care, ambulance services, shelter assistance, food, water, and other critical relief.
American Nomad is a DC-based anti-war Americana band featuring a three-part horn section; warm, groove-driven rhythm; and a troubadour’s eye for a story. The band blends blues, folk, and soul into something that feels like Bill Withers, James Taylor, and John Prine trading verses – heartfelt, high-energy, and built on a belief in peace and shared humanity. Featuring Hassan El-Tayyab (lead vox/guitar), Eric Lawry (vox/drums), Johnny Seikaly (bass), and Marcel Penzes (trombone).
Don’t miss this evening of music, solidarity, and community! One hundred percent of funds will go directly to the Lebanese Red Cross to support its humanitarian response.
