Brazilian-Peruvian singer and guitarist Pablo Regis is the foremost Brazilian cavaquinho player (Brazilian ukulele) in the DMV. Every last Thursday of the month, he and his band – Lucas Ashby (percussion), Andrew Klein, TJ Turqman (bass), and Matvei Sigalov (guitar) – bring the sounds of classic pagode, samba, baião, and xote to Bossa’s main stage.

A lively and talented performer, Pablo’s intense percussive cavaquinho strumming and infectious charisma ramp up the crowd’s excitement to get everybody moving and singing along to beloved classics by such Brazilian artists as Seu Jorge, Djavan, Zeca Pagodinho, Alcione, Diogo Nogueira, Jorge Ben, Luiz Gonzaga, Dominguinhos, Falamansa, and more.
