Celtic fusion meets CelticKlezmer fusion in this Abbie and Aggie/Corned Beef Hash mashup!

Abbie Palmer’s performances span a range of genres. Classically trained at the Shenandoah Conservatory, she has roots in Celtic music and has played rock, pop, Renaissance, spiritual, jazz, hip hop, new age, and go-go. Abbie’s solo music are thought-provoking and eclectic.

Agi Kovacs is a Hungarian native, who began her dance career at the Hungarian National Ballet Institute, where she trained in classical ballet, Hungarian folk, and historical dance styles. About 17 years ago, she started up her professional percussive dance career here in the U.S., as a principal dancer with Footworks Percussive Dance Ensemble.

Corned Beef Hash presents rollicking Irish reels, keening klezmer freylekhs, Quebecois toe-tappers, and/or hauntingly heymish Yiddish songs, all served with a garnish of other genre influences. These might be the only folks in the USA playing “keltzmer” music!
