Orchester Praževica: Eastern European Fusion

Resistance is futile when it comes to this turbo folk! This high-energy dance music draws on the rich traditions of Eastern European Czardas and Gypsy Swing, while being widely influenced by jazz and blues.

Led by Slovak-born guitarist and singer Tomáš Drgoň, Orchester Praževica delivers an honest, authentic, and entertaining mix of folklore, jazz, and dance music.

Orchester Praževica has performed on prestigious stages up and down the DMV, including with the Hungarian Gypsy folk supergroup Parno Graszt, Romanian Gypsy brass legends Fanfare Ciocarlia, and other greats on the not-so-mainstream music scene.
