Heart Music, the third studio album by the George Crotty Trio, is conceived as an eight-movement suite for cello, upright bass, and percussion. Incorporating modern harmony, subtle polyrhythms, and elements of minimalism in parallel with non-western modes, rhythms, and techniques for cello, this record is a cinematic experience, totaling an estimated 65 minutes of music.
